I started motorsport at the age of fourteen by co-driving for my father. Since then it has been a long way to step up to the podium in WRC. This long period of time has given me a lot of experience, hundreds of rallies, tens of drivers, cars and countries and — of course — both ups and downs.

In the beginning I was co-driving but soon I found myself riding motorcycles and driving rally cars. As time went by I started to focus more and more in professional co-driving and in the end that is where my
success was: I got to co-drive for many different drivers like Toni Gardemeister, Jussi Valimaki and Jani Paasonen — among many others.

Co-driving has given me a lot: Rallying with dozens of drivers in many countries has provided me unforgettable moments. Still above all is the feeling while standing on podium in rallies like Monte Carlo or Acropolis or to win the Finnish Rally Championship. These have definitely been the true highlights in my rally carreer. Since I’ve been training (co-)drivers there has also been other events of which I’ve been able to be proud of: it
is when I as a trainer saw "my" driver to win in WRC or national championships.

I started to coach rally drivers and co-drivers in 1999. Since then I’ve trained tens of drivers and I have had a pleasure to work with WRC drivers like Francois Duval, Manfred Stohl and Daniel Sola and many drivers in their national top level.

With the experience and knowledge I have gained by doing rallies in 29 different countries with so many drivers I know I have much to give and I want to share this experience with drivers and co-drivers. Training is the best
thing what I can give to the future.
